Michigan's Adventure |
May 16, 2023

This summer at Michigan’s Adventure is full of opportunities to share special moments with your loved ones, whether you’ve been visiting the park for years or it’s a new family tradition. It’s always a delight to see the reactions and wide-eyed wonder a child’s park experience can create, and this year, there are too many wonder-filled opportunities at the park to count! Want to know how to have the best day every at Michigan’s Adventure? Try checking off a few (or all!) of the activities mentioned here!

Funland Farm features a variety of farm animals, including llamas, alpacas, rabbits, ducks, pigmy goats, a mini horse and a miniature donkey. With the return of furry friends this year, guests will learn about the animals with their children and grandchildren. Park guests will also be able to feed and interact with the animals in a clean, barnyard style environment.

For the ride fans, we have a variety of thrills to experience. From the newest rides at Michigan's Adventure to the family favorites that you remember, there’s something for everyone’s preferred speed. Which are your favorites?

Mad Mouse: Go where no mere mouse has gone before, squeaking through a maze of sharp dips and hairpin turns on this exciting roller coaster. Riders experience sharp turns and sudden drops on this fun-filled ride that families enjoy riding together. Plus, the colorful mouse-shaped cars make for great photo opportunities.

Shivering Timbers: Michigan’s Adventure’s signature attraction, Shivering Timbers is the longest, fastest wooden roller coaster in Michigan, speeding half a mile out and back! Its immense wooden track is full of breath-taking drops, stomach-lifting lifts and hair-raising turns. Reaching speeds of 65 mph and heights of 125 feet, this coaster is a thrill adventure!

Beagle Scout Lookout: Young flyers will love this hot air ballon ride.  And the best part?  They can brind their parents and grandparents with them as they soar above Camp Snoopy.

Thunderhawk: The first suspended looping roller coaster in Michigan, this steel ride simulates flight with speeds of 50 mph and heights of 120 feet. With exhilarating 90-degree vertical climbs, barrel rolls, inverted wing looping, and a complete roll over. Riders will be airborne as their legs and feet sail through the open sky!

Whatever part of the park is your family’s favorite, make sure to have your camera ready to snap a photo of your kids smiling and laughing all day long. With over 60 years in the community, Michigan’s Adventure knows how to make memories special. And get the most out of your summer with a Season or Platinum Pass.
