School Opening Day

Be the first to ride your favorite amusement park attractions in 2024! A class trip has never been as fun and safe as a day-long outing to Michigan’s Adventure. Each admission ticket will come with a free Adventure Meal, served from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Mary Lynn’s Group Catering Pavilion.

Admission Details
The Adventure Meal is served in Mary Lynn’s Catering Pavilion from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and includes an all-beef hot dog, macaroni salad, potato chips and a soft drink. The school group price includes students, teachers, and chaperones. All guests entering the catering area must have a valid ticket. Children two years or age and younger are free. Due to safety regulations, participating in some rides is limited by height, size, or physical condition. Prices and schedules are subject to change.
Payment for School Opening Day
The group leader must purchase all of the group tickets in one transaction at least 14 business days before the visit date. Michigan’s Adventure does not accept personal checks or purchase orders as form of payment. School and Youth Group visits may be paid for with a school district check, school organizational check, cashier check, money order or major credit card. Reservations and payment must be made in advance of the visit. Payment is not accepted at the front gate.
Shipping and Handling
Tickets will be sent digitally via MyGroup Tickets.
Parking
There is a parking fee for regular and oversize vehicles. Full size busses and charter busses park free of charge. Bus drivers receive free admission when presenting their CDL at the Group Sales Office with the hand stamp received at parking. Bus driver meal tickets may be purchased with school group tickets or at the entrance to catering.
Ride Details
Due to maintenance and other circumstances, certain rides and attractions may not be open during the visit. Kiddie rides and Camp Snoopy will not be available on School Opening Day. Wildwater Adventure will not be open during School Opening Day or School Days.
