Do you have aspiring little sailors who dream of taking to the high seas? Now they can – and have some splashy fun in the process – on the Speed Splashers ride at Michigan’s Adventure.
Kiddos can choose their very own colorful boat, take command of the controls and set sail on a course for a marvelous adventure. Never mind that their boat’s course goes around and around in water that’s only a few inches deep and takes anchor at the exact same place they started. Oh no, in the vivid imaginations of the young, this is a high-speed, high-action nautical adventure meant for only the heartiest of brave souls.
Here’s a fun idea for parents from our captain: Make sure your cameras are in ship-shape condition to snap pics of your little adventurers as they ring their boat’s bell and sail around your part of the world.

- This is a family attraction that travels in a circular path in water.
- Maximum weight is 260 lb. per boat.
- A shared seatbelt secures all riders in the row across the thighs and pelvis. Due to the nature of the restraint, this ride may not accommodate guests of a larger size.
- Riders must have a minimum of two functioning extremities.
- Alternate access is available through the exit of the ride. Riders will need to take several steps on their own or with the assistance of a companion, including stepping across a gap of approximately 4” and down into the ride unit which may shift in the water.
