All aboard! Timbertown Railway, available only at Michigan’s Adventure, will take you where your feet can't take you. This small-scale replica of an authentic steam locomotive is on track to deliver a fantastic time to young guests and those young at heart.
Take a break from the fast pace of amusement park life and just chug-chug along, enjoying a side view of the magnificent mile-long Shivering Timbers roller coaster. While on Timbertown Railway, you’ll also see Thunderhawk. You can choo-choo your way to the other side of the park and get off there or circle right back to your original depot. From the engine to the caboose, everyone who rides this classic train will want to enjoy it again and again!
Here’s a fun idea for parents from our conductor: Ask your children, if you could take a train trip to anywhere, where would you go?

- Maximum weight is 430 lb. per seat.
- Guests who cannot maintain seated postural control, do not have the ability to enter or exit the ride safely, or do not demonstrate appropriate observed behavior, must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
- Alternate access is available at the attraction exit.
- Riders will have to take several steps on their own or with the assistance of a companion and be capable of elevating themselves up onto the bench. Service animals are permitted on this attraction.
